Goodreads asked Trigger Jones:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Trigger Jones In our experience, writer's block is usually an indication that we haven't done enough planning. There is something about the story that doesn't make sense or hasn't yet been fully realized, and so the easy flow of the story has dried up.

Free writing often unblocks things. So does discussing the challenge - one of the great benefits of co-writing! We chat about where the story needs to go, or what about the world we don't know yet. Before long, the next move becomes clear.
