Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lonnie Mounts The idea for 'You're It!', actually came to me back in 1996, but I wasn't established yet. This story had been building in my mind all these years and I finally put ink to paper in 2020. As I started to write it, I used events of my own childhood as I grew up in Roderfield, WV. I also put some of my friends and family members into the story (with their permission) to add a little more reality and character.
