I try not to write very detailed plans before I start writing a book because I want to be swept up into the adventure, just as I would be if I were reading a book for the first time. There is something very exciting about inhabiting an imaginative world where virtually anything might happen and where the characters you create have the power to surprise you from time to time.

Hello Fiorella, you might know me as Mary's Dowry. This is the first book or yours that I have read. I just started today, Labour Day, and I have not put it down yet. The theme of misplaced guilt (Warda's) runs through this story and touches me deeply for reasons too difficult and private to go into in this way. I get the feeling that a lot of your writing is from the heart, am I correct in that assumption?
