hello, Mr. Gibbs! i'm writing the second part of my own novel, but im not really sure how. i just wanted 2 know, when YOU start writing a book, do you have all of the things thats gonna happen and youll write from the first place or get new ideas while writing, like me? have u ever had 2 endings in ur mind that would make it a little hard for you to decide which one should be the ending?

Stuart Gibbs I outline my books in quite a lot of detail before I start writing for the exact reason you mention: I don't want to get halfway through writing and then discover that I don't know what to do next. I would never start with two possible endings. I would only start writing if i knew the ending. That said... I do sometimes change my mind about what I want to do once i am writing the book.
