Goodreads asked Rebecca E Chandler:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Rebecca E Chandler I have to be honest - I don't get writer's block. I sit down and apparently I have a lot to say because I get 3,000 words rather quickly. If I don't have anything to say (which is rare), I give myself time away from writing to meditate, get outside, watch TV...whatever I want. When writing starts to feel like a job, it's time to give yourself a break. I also ask myself, "What is it about what I'm writing that my mind is blocking? Is it trying to protect me? Why?" And then write about that! Just write.
