I have a question about Praetor Namono. The book lists her as a bodyguard, which makes sense but sometimes refers to her as a warrior nun? I was a bit confused by that as she doesn't seem to be part of the church or an order other than having the faith. Was this just an analogy or is there something I missed?

Andrew Gillsmith I hope to flesh this out more in the sequel. She took vows as a member of the Trebanten, but she is not a nun per se.

I loved Our Lady of the Artilects, and am thrilled that there's a sequel coming out in a week! I couldn't quite piece together when the story takes place, other than quite a bit later than 2224. Could you shed some light on that for me, please?
