Kelly
Kelly asked W. Bruce Cameron:

I've just read my ARC of "Love, Clancy," & I'd like to know where you got your ideas for the quirky cast of human characters. Are they "somewhat like" real people you know/knew, amalgamations of traits you've seen in others, or totally made up by your imagination? And what in your life fueled the idea to juxtapose the development of human & canine packs in a story?

W. Bruce Cameron Hi Kelly. Well, no. Meaning, I don't base my characters on real people, because then I'd get caught thinking, "well yeah, but my Uncle Donald wouldn't actually do that." And I'm a dog book guy by profession who keeps trying to sneak in humans! So Love, Clancy was a great opportunity for that!
