"The Point of Your Thorns" is based on the Apostle Paul's "thorn in the flesh" passage in 2 Corinthians 12:7-10. As I reflected on my life I recognized not just one thorn but many. Some are irritants, others are more like daggers or spears. I started the book by asking many friends, "What is your thorn in the flesh?" Their answers were varied, and that spurred me on to explore what Paul's thorn might have been.
