How do you get inspired to write?

Richlon Merrill I developed the ambition from decades back of one day becoming a writer of fiction. I have always written, but most of my writing has been related to theological issues and bland topics of interest to me, but probably not to others. After retiring from my work in video production, I set about writing my first novel. My inspiration came from my many years of research in both theology and science. The catalyst was probably from waking up in the middle of the night with an idea of how to combine the two.
