Emily asked Alice Coldbreath:

Your books are so satisfying! As soon as I finish them, I want to start them all over again. I just realized during my last re-reading that "A Bride for the Prizefighter" is the only book where you don't do a dual POV. I was curious as to why? I love me some Will Nye and would have loved to hear his inner monologue.

Alice Coldbreath Hi Emily, so glad you have been enjoying my books. For the first Prizefighter book, I really wanted to have an element of mystery present and sort of emulate the gothic romances I used to love reading as a girl. Basically, where the poor heroine was completely at sea about, what was going on, what sinister forces were at play, and if the hero was in fact a villain. In those kind of books, the reader discovers everything along with the heroine. My thinking was, if we knew Will's thoughts all along, we would know exactly what he was up to with the smuggler ring etc. However, the majority of my readers felt that they preferred me to include the male lead's POV, and so that was what I did with the following 2 books in the series. I hope that clears it up Emily! ~ Alice
