Zoe
Zoe asked Stuart Gibbs:

I notice that most of your books center around 12-year-olds (that slowly age as the series go on) Is this because that is the target audience for these books? Or is there some other reason?

Stuart Gibbs When you write middle grade, you basically have to write characters who are around twelve. If i make them much older, then they are teenagers and the books officially become YA.
