My novel ALL THE LIGHT THERE WAS appeared from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in March 2013. Anthony Doerr's ALL THE LIGHT WE CANNOT SEE was published by Scribner in May 2014. Both novels take place in Paris during World War II, but otherwise have very little in common. ALL THE LIGHT THERE WAS is set in the working class Armenian community of Belleville.
