Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Scott David Brown The Lost Elf, my most recent project, was mostly inspired by World of Warcraft and The Lord of the Rings. I especially like J.R.R. Token's universe. You might find some influence from other books and video games as well. In fact, my series in some ways reads like a video game. Something I've grown to love about The Lost Elf, but I also want to make sure it doesn't go too far in that direction.
