Alice, "A Ghost of Caribou" was the first book I have read by you. I was engaged from the first page to the very last. It combined my taste in fiction for what is called "thriller" but set in the Pacific Northwest, particularly in the eastern section that is very different from my homes in Olympia, Tacoma, Seattle and, now, Portland.
