Where do you get the inspiration for Gav and Rien?! They are such crazy && complex characters! I LOVED reading about them!

Aubrey Dark Ahh, sorry I missed this for so long! I've always wanted to write a book with a Dexter-ish character. Gav was that guy for me, and I put a lot of my own struggle with depression into the book. As for Rien... well, I wanted someone who was unapologetic about wanting to torture bad guys. He's definitely a more intellectual hero, more arrogant and cocky about what he does. And both of them are loosely based on my husband, who is more than a little bit sociopathic ;)
