Glynnis Campbell In my mind, a perfect meal has more to do with the company and the ambience than the food. I've had an amazing Indian family-style meal in New York and a delicious piled-high plate of shrimp at the Santa Monica pier, a five-course feast at a medieval castle and a freshly-made frybread street taco, Nutella crepes at midnight in Paris and a chef's selection at an exclusive California restaurant, a colorful sushi buffet in Little Tokyo and newspaper-wrapped fish and chips in London. The experience and memories are what make a meal "perfect."
