Jeffrey
Jeffrey asked Glynnis Campbell:

In thinking about "Dangers Kiss" and the curses that the characters said in the novel, were those curses strictly from your imagination or were you able to find during research for the novel the actual curses that people back then would say?

Glynnis Campbell Most of the curses I use in my books are actually real or variations on real curses. Medieval people used God a lot in oaths--God's blood, God's teeth, God's eyes. In fact, "God's hooks" is where we got the familiar word "Gadzooks." I sometimes change it up by swapping in the Devil--Lucifer's ballocks, Satan's claws, the Devil's eyes, etc.
