Goodreads asked Brooke Gilbert:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Brooke Gilbert I love to watch a classic film or take a bath to relax. Listening to a good audiobook and getting out of my head is always great as well! I love watching Charlie Chaplin. A silent film is great to let all the noise fade away. I believe in the Chaplin method. He makes an audience laugh as hard as they cry. If someone can make an audience feel both ends of the spectrum, then I feel like they've done their job. And no one could do it like Chaplin. So I can't help but watch him and feel inspired. If I could just have an iota of that magic rub off on me, then I'd be happy. And if I'm stuck on a particular romance sequence then you know Audrey Hepburn is coming on the screen! lol.
