What would you say is the biggest misconception that people have about authors?

Glynnis Campbell Great question! I think most people assume writing is a glamorous profession that comes with exotic travel and a luxury apartment overlooking Central Park. But that's the movie version. Writing a book requires hard work and long hours of seclusion, under the pressure of a deadline, and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, and there's no guarantee any of it will be rewarded. You have to truly love to tell stories to take on the mantle of Author.
