Faith Hunter It's up to you. If you like a deep dive into the characters and the world, then you should read everything (including shorts and novellas) in order. If not, you can enjoy the Soulwood books as you want!

Hi Faith, I'm finally getting to your books even though they've been in my TBR pile for years (nothing against you!), is there anything I need to read before I start Skinwalker? I've not yet read anything from any series, and I'd be gutted if I started it then found out it was a spinoff that I hadn't read the first series first. Thanks!
