I assume the same things you did. The ending was very disappointing and confusing leaving more questions than answers. Why was Jennifer just in the crowd? And Anna's motives were very strange leading me to venture to guess major mental illness is involved and that Jacob/Thomas also had a dual personality at the end. I think my major takeaway is that Naomi is not a very good therapist and needs a new profession.
