I would say depends on how mature they are. And how strict the parent is. Tom does talk about drugs, drinking, and even mentions porn in it. I'd say maybe read it yourself first and see if you're ok with it. My mom would pretty much let me read anything, but I know I had church friends back in the day that werent even allowed to read Twilight.

I listened to the audiobook with my 13 year old. There are some usage of the “F-word”, reference to a bamboo “wanking”, and drug/alcohol abuse in some chapters. It’s nothing that is out of range for a conversation with a mature 13 year old.

Personally, I would say no.
It's a mostly clean book, but he does discuss his and others interactions with drugs, alcohol, mental health, etc. He addresses it all in a healthy way, but I would wait a couple more years before allowing them to read it.
