Does anyone know the literary term for this specific kind of split narrative? He's done this in both books, where there is a split narrative between main characters, but then also chapters by secondary characters, and also periphery characters who get a single, chapter narrative? That specific aspect, the periphery character brief narrative, what is that called? I want more books with this!

(Which is usually split between the points of views of main characters roughly equally, etc and includes books like Six of Crows which Valentina mentioned). If there is a term for it, I've never come across it.
However, another YA book that uses this structure and has really similar vibes to this book is The Sun Is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon :) (less)
