Do you ever see yourself starting your own podcast, or do you prefer being a full-time podcast guest? I once heard that it's way better to have a friend with a boat than to own a boat yourself, because you can enjoy it without having to worry about maintenance. So I understand if you feel similarly about hosting a podcast lol.

Right, running your own show is literally 10x the effort, it's dealing with hosting and editing and revenue/administrative stuff etc. It's more something I would do if the book writing fell through and I needed to find a new career. Otherwise I literally just don't have the time, I'd be putting out like two episodes a year.

You've mentioned being into some youtube horror channels, but since Twitter is now a nightmare to navigate I can't find them. Is there any interesting work in indie horror you'd like to showcase? Authors too? P.S. Since you've mentioned not getting much fanmail about it, I just wanted to say that I loved If This Book Exists, second only to Spiders in my rankings of your novels.

Hey Jason! I wanted to know what the inspiration was for the Soy Sauce. Have you ever experimented with recreational psychedelic drugs like LSD, DMT or psilocybin or was this just an idea that popped up in your head and made for a good book plot? Love the JDatE series, they turned into some of my all time favourite books. Take good care of yourself
