Hello favorite author :D! I have many questions concerning AA4 but instead I will settle with a more basic one. Using an attunement slowly improves the attuned : for lightning it would be faster reacting speed etc I was wondering how umbral mana would improve the attuned but couldn’t see any obvious thing it would improve. Andrew Rowe Yes, reaction speed is a part of practicing with lightning mana.

As for umbral mana, the clearest benefit is improved recovery speed from debilitating physical effects (e.g. being sick), whereas light mana tends to improve recovery from mental effects (e.g. compulsion spells).
