Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Eve Blakely I started writing The Other Version quite a few years ago at a time when I felt that I was going through some changes in my life. I'd become a mother and I guess that made me reflect on all the past versions of myself and all the versions I would become in the future. I knew that I wanted to write about two soulmates that were connected by tragedy. Liv and EJ's story came to me really easily.
