Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kennedy Ryan My son, who has autism is, like many kids on the spectrum, obsessed with water! A few summers ago we were at the Chattahoochee River every evening for HOURS! My story WHEN YOU ARE MINE takes place in a small NC town called Rivermont. Those days by the river inspired the setting, the characters and the story.

My count down has already started, but it would be great to know the second book about Grip and Bristol is going to be long and out soon (fingers crossed). Any chances it is in 2017?
