I am confused about which book is the next in the Flavia series? I just got a newsletter from GoodReads telling me "The curious case of the copper corpse" was coming out Dec 9 2014, but on the flaviadeluce.com website, it says "As chimney sweepers come to dust" is the next book, coming out in January 6 2015. Are we actually getting 2 books? Thanks!

Yes! "Copper Corpse" is a short story, in ebook format only.

I'm not sure if I've ever seen this asked but where did the idea for Flavia come from? Is she based on a real little girl? I must tell you that one of the happiest days of my life was when I brought home The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie home to read. Flavia is a delight! Thank you for so many wonderful funny and sad hours of reading and I look forward to many more.
