Write--and keep writing. The forst things you write will not be great, but the only way you can improve is to read a lot and write a lot. Write for yourself; if it isn't interesting to you, the chances are great it will not be interesting to many others, either. Don't give up! If writing is what you feel is in your DNA, write, write and . . . oh, yeah--write!
