H.L. Burke:
Have you ever thought of doing a follow up to Coiled in some way? I absolutely adore that book so much! And with the way it ended, it seemed like there was potential for more story to tell.
H.L. Burke
Not really. Generally speaking I know if I'm going to continue a story/world by the time I get to the end. If I don't feel something else waiting to grow out of it, I get into Edna Mode-Mode and never look back. I would hate to break open the happily ever after to bother Calen and Laidra more, and none of the other characters really spoke to me as far as stories left to tell. I did kind of intentionally leave it up to the readers how Laidra's mother reacted to her end reveal, but that was because the story wasn't about how Laidra's mom reacted. It was about Laidra learning to overcome how her mother had been. The end growth for Laidra wasn't going to be in an interaction with her mother, but simply in the act of removing her veil and declaring that she would no longer be hidden. How her mother reacts to this reveal simply didn't matter.

Hi, H. L.! I just finished Cora and the Nurse Dragon (which immediately got bumped up to my "fantastic books" list and is now my favorite H. L. Burke book)! This is kind of trivial, but I was wondering how you, personally, imagine Parker's accent. I imagine it's ultimately up to individual interpretation, but I picture he sounds kind of New York/Boston-ish. How do you picture it?

I've so been enjoying your Supervillain Rehabilitation Project books and just finished book four of the main series. Chronologically, which book comes next—Supervillain Rescue Project book 1, or book 5 of the main series? And where do the Supervillain Romance Project books fit in (or are they a completely separate storyline)?
