What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Lisa Francesca The best thing about being a writer is that I get to live my life many different times over and with different points of view and potential outcomes. A simple expedition to the coast, for example, is the fodder for several anticipatory daydreams and maybe a few nightmares. As I actually live through an event, I search for better words to describe what I'm doing or what's happening. And afterward I relive it, whether I write about it or not. This is also absolutely the worst thing about being a writer. I think it's called obsession.
