How would you compare/contrast your next book with your last one? Similarities/differences?

L.M. Coppa Hmm... I'd say this next book is very different from the first book in that there's no post-apocalyptic event that has to be dealt with. However, the main character in a way does have to adjust to a new way of life, just like Alice did. She's recently transitioned into retirement after serving as an "asset" for a government subdivision for many, many years, so there's an adjustment for sure. That's where the similarities end, though. I can tell you this, the mc does make left turns in this book.
