Dear Linwood: I finished Bad Move (Zack Walker) and thought it was very funny and enjoyed it. So, of course, I want to read, or should I say, listen to the second book 'Bad Guys'. However, it seems it is not available in Canada. How come? Thanks Redjoy53

Linwood Barclay I don't think any North American audio book versions of the Zack novels were ever done, thought I might be wrong. I believe there are audio versions in the UK, where the Zack books didn't come out for years after they did in Canada and the US. Here's a link to the UK audio of Bad Guys:

Also note books 3 and 4 in the Zack series had different titles in the UK.

Hello Mr. Barclay, I have read or listened to almost all of your books. More listened than read because of my job. I love them all. The only audiobooks I haven't listened to are the Zack Walker books. They are apparently not available in the US for purchase. I put in a request to UK Amazon to buy them, but haven't heard back. Are you aware of anywhere I can get them in the US?

Not a question, but a request. More Promise Falls novels, please. I just finished Parting Shot and find that each of your Promise Falls books is better than the one before. I really enjoy this series--in fact it's the only one I've stuck with since Dennis Lehane finished his books about Patrick and Angie (Boston P.I.s) quite a few years ago. It seems I must end this comment with a question mark, so here it is?

I'm looking forward to Whistle! I love your books and 'voice.' Years ago, I read the Promise Falls series and those books really inspired me to get back into serious fiction writing. I sometimes struggle with how much to 'plot' ahead versus how much to 'follow the story' where it leads as I'm in the trenches of drafting. Just curious what your approach is?
