Robin Stevens Thank you, that's so exciting! It takes me quite a long time to build up characters - I have to work out their background, how they look, and then their character traits. I do exercises like asking myself what their most important object is, what they hate and love most, how they see other characters, what scares them, what they want ... when I imagine them like real people, they become real in my head!
