Kathleen asked Nash Summers:

Hi there. A question about Vices. A person dear to me is a recovering addict and sometimes it's tough for me to read about other's addictions. Even fictional ones. Can you tell me a bit about how this is handled in your book? Thanks so much! Kathleen

Nash Summers Hi Kathleen!
The addiction the MC in Vices has isn't really a focal point to the story, and isn't debilitating to the character. It's more just reflective of his addictive personality. I think so many other unhealthy things are happening in this story, the reader might even forget about the drug addiction (lol). By the end of the book (spoiler!) the MC does decide to try kicking his addiction. :)
But if you're still unsure about the content in this book, I completely understand! It's a very sensitive subject matter.
I do have a another story, Carte Blanche, which isn't about addiction, but it is a story of recovery (OCD), so that might be closer to your comfort level. :) It's available for free on Amazon, or you can pop me a message and I'd love to send you a copy!
Thank you so much for your question, and happy reading, Kathleen!
