This book I would say is 13+ (but also depends on the person). Most of the romance is just kissing (mostly like kisses some mentions of making out sloppily) with mentions of skinny dipping (while they don't actually do it, it is talked about) and vague mentions of sex( a comment about a character getting to "third base" (below the waist activity)). the only really inappropriate word was d*ck being used as an insult to one of the characters.
