How do you deal with writer’s block?

Kevin Robinson Now that I'm not actively freelancing, and no longer taking assignments, I only write when I'm inspired, and so writer's block is never an issue. Back in the day, I would rather have died than miss a deadline, so I just treated it like any other job that needed doing...and began writing. Yes, I threw away a lot of drivel, but the physical act of writing always led back to getting the mind and heart reengaged in the process.
