Elizabeth Faustina
Elizabeth Faustina asked Gail Carson Levine:

Was "The Fairy's Mistake" a retelling of anything? It reminded me of "Mother Holle" by Brothers Grimm!

Gail Carson Levine It's a retelling of "Toads and Diamonds."

Mollie!
Mollie! asked Gail Carson Levine:

When I was younger, I read Ella Enchanted and the Two Princesses of Bamarre over and over again. I still have my copies. I was sucked in by your world building, and you are one of the authors that has inspired me to write my own fantasy. It is not so much a question as it is a chance to thank you for all that you do, and to please keep doing it!

Elizabeth Faustina asked Gail Carson Levine:

What is your favorite book that you've written? Did you like the plot better or the quality of the writing?

A Goodreads user
A Goodreads user asked Gail Carson Levine:

How do you think of character/setting names? Is there a particular way that you do it? By the way I love your writers blog. Fairest is my favorite, but the writing books are close behind!
