Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Richard Houlden It was a combination of things.
Initially, in my professional life at the time I was very short on time and couldn't sink my teeth in a meaty project.
In the free time that I had allocated for me to just relax, I started reading short stories and watched the Netflix series Love, Death and Robots. It was then that I realised that I could still write meaningfully in a restricted timeframe so I turned from a full length, 200k wordcount, novel to short stories of less than 5k word count.
