Just finished The Scent Keeper. I worked with Roman Kaiser and through that part of the book, I kept thinking of him. Typically I don't read acknowledgments, but I'm so glad I did as it was a joy to find out that you modeled the character after him. You nailed it! (And the book was an absolute wonder. I too, so enjoy your work. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to dream and escape (which seemingly is more necessary...sigh). I am hoping you'll share your work place set up. PC or MAC? Please, please, please translate your books to Brazil. I've read all of your books in English, and I have only one edition on my bookshelf that is from my country (The School of Essential Ingredients, my first and my favorite). I know so many people who love your book here! I love your storytelling and your stories, I even smell the food when I read your books. Can you bring your lost art here to Brazil?
