What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Hadley Thorne A friend and I were traveling the place I refer to as the Devil's backbone in my book series. There we ran into some sort of entity that neither of us could explain. It was humanoid and to the best of my memory it had on a blue parka but where the face was supposed to be was completely void. Nothing but an empty black space. It was daylight, we were clear headed. It just didn't (and doesn't) make sense.
