Who is your favorite Astronaut and why?

Andy Weir John W. Young. Because he's awesome. He was a Gemini astronaut, he walked on the moon as commander of Apollo 16, and he commanded the first Space Shuttle mission.

Fun fact: They have bio-monitors on the astronauts during missions, tracking body temperature, heart-rate, etc. When they launched Apollo 16, Young's heart rate never got above 70.
