How long does it take to get good? I'm on page 61 and it's kind of a slog so far. When does Piranesi start to get curious about where the Other goes and who his own mother was and who taught him to read and how he knows the names of all the architectural details of the House, etc?

In my personal opinion, it doesn’t get truly exciting or interesting until Part 5 (out of 7 parts). Others may have different opinions, though. I agree that the beginning was a slog.
