Hi. I just read that Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (commonly shortened to Alice in Wonderland) is an 1865 novel written by English mathematician Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll. I wonder how many writers are also mathematician? And how that can combine to form certain writing style ?

I did not know that about Lewis Carroll!
There are a few of us math/stem writers out there, particularly in science fiction. Stewart O'Nan (friend, mentor, brilliant writer) was an engineering major in college.
I have no idea if there's any connection to our styles. I think it help informs how I put together stories/novels but exactly how, i don't think I can explain other than to say I typically write the story in the order in which I think it'll appear in the book and also, I do a lot of editing as i go.

I read a head full of ghosts and LOVED it so much Ive been recommending it to everyone I talk to about books (so alot) and now I'm almost done with Dissapearance at Devils Rock. I listened to them both on Audible, great choices for narrators by the way.... Anyways, what I wanted to ask is when a new fan has finished those, which book would you recommend next?

You write young people and siblings in such an amazingly true-to-life fashion. Does that come from your own experience with siblings or more so from the interactions of your children? PS: Merry is perhaps my favorite fictitious 8-year-old. She ranks right up there with Scout Finch. Thank you for writing such an amazing tale. I can't wait for more.

Currently reading No Sleep Til Wonderland and loving it as much as I hoped to. Mostly, it's because I really like Mark. I think he is harder on himself than anyone else is on him. This time around, two girls have the hots for him. I like that. He broken and beautiful. Maybe you've answered this before, who is he? Where did you find Mark?
