Because I run a book club for women who prefer to stay away from lusty plot lines, I am always looking for great literature that is pretty clean in that regard. This book was a good fit for our club. There is one instance of intimacy but it is only alluded to--completely closed-door. I think one of the characters makes a comment or two about finding a woman attractive. But I personally would call it mild.

There is a good amount of profanity but it's not gross or distracting to the plot line. (less)
