Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Stephen Birchard I am a veterinary surgeon and former Professor at Ohio State's College of Veterinary Medicine. Each chapter tells the story of one of my patients who presented with a life-theatening illness or injury. Despite the overwhelming odds against these dogs and cats, their will to live and the love and compassion of the caregivers allowed them to survive and return to normal life.
