I had no idea Children of Earth and Sky…moreI've only read A Brightness Long Ago before this and never felt like there was anything obvious I was missing. I had no idea Children of Earth and Sky was in the same timeline even.

Some of the stuff going on with Folco may be unappreciated but it's not super integral to the story or plot overall.

Since Children and Earth and Sky is set after this book I think it'll be neat to see how things ended up playing out. (less)
