1. Katniss does not regret taking her sister's spot in the Hunger Games. While she might hate it, she never mentions in the book regretting it because she loves Prim and would not want her to be hurt in the Games.
2. Katniss thinks it will be worth it to win the Hunger Games because she wants to provide a good life for her family. Also, she wants to be able to see Prim again.
