What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Rob Volpe Just start writing! I'm finding in conversations with aspiring writers that they think the first words the write will make it into the final manuscript. Or that they need to have the whole thing worked out from the start. That might work for some authors but my experience with Tell Me More About That was one of continual evolution. The structure changed three times during the 5 full manuscript drafts - which is before we got into copy editing and proofing!

So don't stress about what the end product is going to be, just start writing, enjoy the writing and see where it takes you!
