How much older is Jake in this one?

John Grisham Jake was 32 in A Time To Kill, 35 in Sycamore Row, 37 in Time For Mercy, give or take a year or so. Homecoming takes place around 1991, so Jake is 38 or so. Homecoming began with a short story called “Fish Files” that I published with a collection in 2009.
